This is a dynamic film-acting workshop not only designed to enhance student acting skills, but also give them a unique opportunity to compete for the main role of AVI’s new movie. 
This exclusive ten-day event introduces students to the fundamentals of screen acting through practical demonstrations, vocal training exercises, and various improvisational routines. The workshop also features several intensive scene-study sessions where the students will be performing scenes from films alongside his/her fellow actors. Meet your Instructors
Nathalie Biermanns actress, TV-host, producer and former Miss World Aruba. Nathalie graduated from the Theater Drama Academy in Amsterdam. During and after her studies she did several theater, television productions and TV ads in Holland. In 2011 the ambitious Nathalie decided together with her husband to move to Los Angeles to expand their success. In Los Angeles she starred in two feature films 'Eel' and 'Down Home Alien Blues'.  Nathalie is a member of the MiMoDa Gruppa a physical theater company with monthly performances. IMDb

Tica Giel is Aruba’s soprano singer, having graduated as teacher of ‘General Music Education’ at the Pedagogical Academy of Music in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. She also studied Opera at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. Tica has more than 29 years of exeriencie and given numerous presentations in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Bonaire, and Curaçao. The most operatic role performed by Tica was ‘Die Zauberflöte’ of Mozart. 

Auditions
Auditions will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013, from 9.00 A.M.

One’s audition will consist of a cappella performance for judges, as well as the presentation of a monologue. 30 participants will be selected to attend the workshops for free. A final presentation will be held after the workshop to selected the main characters and supporting actors.
